Watefall Cake Part 1

We’re continuing with Lana Easteregg. I really liked her tutorial for beginners, and this waterfall cake looks interesting enough to explore further while reusing my knowledge.

I finished modeling the cake, the waterfall, and setting up the grass.

For the grass, the video suggests using a particle emitter, but since I know that today we can do much better with the recent Scatter on Surface modifier and weight paint to define the areas where the blades of grass would appear.

Next step: the other elements to add to the cake, texturing, and probably other things.

Not far from perfect, just one conjugation away 😭
